Resource protection

The revolutionary NEXAT system addresses future soil management challenges using a game-changing approach that is both holistic and resource-efficient. After all, preserving valuable arable land is the focal point of any approach that deals with sustainable, future-orientated crop-production.

When compared to typical low-input – for example fuel-efficient – farm machinery, NEXAT is significantly higher performing and manages to combine state-of-the-art mechanical engineering with digital technology to create one ultra-efficient system. Systematically the new wide-span carrier vehicle provides a considerable increase in performance in all types of crop-production, while also reducing the impact on soil and the environment.

Using the wide-span controlled traffic method, 95% of farmland remains permanently untouched by vehicles, which enables the soil fertility in these areas to be optimised, soil life to be activated, humus to be formed and the water storage capacity to be significantly increased. What’s more, by removing superfluous cultivation passes as part of a regenerative farming approach, NEXAT farmers will be able to continue contributing towards reducing climate change in future.

By continuously activating the soil, which acts as a carbon sink, farming also offers an entry point into CO2-emissions trading, opening up a completely new and profitable income source.

New chemical fertiliser products and yet more heavyweight farm machinery are not the answer to meeting the needs of the next generation. It seems we have long since established that they’re not the solution – they’re part of the problem. NEXAT was developed on the premise of enabling farmers to manage their resources more efficiently, more intelligently and with greater care, while also maximising their potential yields and profits.
